Coding Quest Arcade, organized by the Learning Partnership, was the culmination of the Coding Quest Program in schools around the GTA this year. Held on May 9th 2019, Coding Quest Arcade featured 150 students showcasing their Game Art works in arcade style exhibition at the Accolade West Building. The event was supported and hosted by AMPD’s Department of Computational Arts. In conjunction with the day’s events, the Digital Media Program provided a tour for the students around exhibitions and artworks made by AMPD students at the Gales Gallery and the Transmedia Lab. The Pan-Faculty Makerspace featured a centrally located booth demonstrating the 3D printing of digital video game assets, while also showcasing laser cut and 3D printed creations.
